Making An Impact
Impact Awards
On December 2nd, 2021 Ahwatukee Foothills Women In Business hosted the Impact Awards at the Four Points by Sheraton in Phoenix. This Gala included drinks, dinner, raffles, speeches, and an award ceremony. The Guest Speaker was Christine Harms from the Arizona Cardinals.

A Note from WIB Co-Chairs

The impact awards are a great opportunity to honor and recognize them for their contributions to the community that made a great impact.
Working together as Co-Chairs for the Ahwatukee Chamber Women in Business Committee this year has been a very rewarding experience and has allowed us the unique opportunity to connect business owners and community members, in hopes of helping them thrive by helping each other. We are individually strong, our businesses are stronger and our community is extraordinary!
Angelica Parra & Jess Magee
Angelica Parra, Co-Chair of WIB
Angelica Parra at Cox Business is an asset to any company or group. She's always contributing her time and resources without ever asking to receive anything in return. Angelica has been in charge of several of the chamber committees and serves on the board. She is completely invested in bettering the community and is a friend to all.
Jessica Magee, Co-Chair of WIB
Jess is so incredibly inspiring and her exhaustive efforts to make things happen for the benefit of others are admirable. Her humble nature of being the worker-bee behind the scenes so that events are successful is inspiring.
She provides words of encouragement and words of affirmation to people around her and she helps local business owners make connections.
Between organizing fundraisers, charity events, and co-charing the WIB she is continually on the go, working hard and quietly making a difference.
The growth of the chamber and community has increased and we've all benefited from the time and effort she has given.
She is Ahwatukee's very own Shero.
