In addition he's played with the Canyon Jazz Band, Southwest Regional Orchestra and in numerous stage productions. Alex is a lover of music and the trumpet, influnced by artists such as Miles Davis and John Coltrane, and more modern groups such as SnarkyPuppy, Vulfpeck and the SF JAzz Collective. Alex has ambitions to be a composer as well as a performer, currently working on several jazz arrangements and compositions, one of which is to debut at the 2017 Chandler Jazz Festival. Alex had the fortune to be taught by great players such as Dennis Monce and Dave Coolidge. Alex has instructed at Music Makers since spring, 2017.
Alex opened up Saturdays for Brass students. His Weeknights are almost sold-out (one or two lessons maybe available). If Saturday works there are so very good times available!
